The music MADE the event !! You, Shiela, Mark, Will are sooo talented I just LOVED the play list! You left me wanting more!!
Next time I just want to SIT and listen...well, dance probably. Everyone who attended had a fabulous time and I have heard from many. I have also had "apologies and regrets: from about 25 people that were expected that did not make it....I think the cooler temps and the threat of rain scared some people off, and it is HARVEST season, so everyone is busy getting fruit off the vines into bins. That is how it goes in the Applegate, and I appreciate that. I try to keep my focus on...did everyone who came have fun...and on that, we knocked it out of the park. I have been busy all night sending personal thank you notes:):):) to all their thank you notes:) Full circle
I must say you are a VERY special person. Your wife, your band members..I love your values. I wish we had more time (and more light) to sit after the event to just chat. Every single one of you are special, and I think that is a reflection of your leadership, your style, your positive energy. I am so glad I have met you and now have you and Encore Five in my circle. Good people in our lives...make this world a better place and I am so grateful for having now met you.
I do hope my friends put some tips in the jar. Most that attend my event know when I pay for the music, food and wine, they can afford to help tip the talent....since we all are the beneficiaries. Yes, I know what you bid...and appreciate that. And yes, I know what I put in the envelope and it was correct. As I said.... I LOVED YOU !!! Even if you were just playing to me and my sister Carol... I would have paid the same!!! It was THE BEST of the entire evening!! Wait until you meet all five of the Rodgers girls, and all our daughters !!!! They will love you too!
I also appreciate...it is a long drive out to the Applegate, it takes time to set up, you have four people, and it is a long drive back...that doesn't even include playing.... So, I believe in making it worth your time and talent....not to mention, I will definitely use you again and again...so I always want to make it fair and make it fun!! I am looking forward to our future and can't wait for our next joint gig!!!
