Sheila Winn, the female vocalist, and percussionist hails originally from New Jersey.
She always had a passion for music but was interrupted by years of performing as an aerialist — riding a motorcycle on the high wire for theme parks in Japan, in-between music acts at rock concerts, exhibitions, and fairs in many parts of the globe. She performed in a variety of shows and performed with live orchestras. Sheila owned Gold Coast Productions for 15 years. She was in charge of theatrical productions for such performers as Janie Fricke, The Ventures, The Lovin Spoonful, Juice Newton, and many others. Now she is back to her first passion: music.
James “Jim” Doren, drummer, percussionist, and bandleader, was born and raised in Medford, Oregon, and has had a love of music since a young boy.
At the age of 16, he played in front of a musicians union and was deemed a professional. He played on the road with some exceptional musicians; one was Dan Hunnicut who went on to win a Golden Dove Award. Jim took a break from music due to work and family and his current wife renewed his love for music in 1997 and bought his Premier drum set. He was the drummer for a local Elvis tribute artist for two years and performed in Reno, Nevada, and various other locations including the Ginger Rogers/Craterian Theatre in Medford, Oregon.
Mark Longshore started guitar lessons in 4th grade, playing in rock bands during middle and high school.
Switching to bass, he played and continued to play for church. Mark was in "The lconics" for 12 years, a mostly-1960s cover band, playing clubs, parties, and outdoor events including car shows, leaving the band in September 2021. They were regulars at Murphys, CA "Music In The Park" and Willow Glen's "Music In The Glen" both well-attended and respected sum er venues. Mark enjoys listening to all types of music as much as playing, experiencing live-music venues on a regular basis. "I am pleased to be a part of Encore 5, which is comprised of dedicated seasoned musicians".
Rob Bremer -- "Sharing the music and camaraderie of Encore Five makes him happy!"
Music captured Rob's imagination from the moment he touched the keys of his first toy piano at age four. A guitar soon followed and once the Beatles arrived in the U.S. Rob jumped on the path of playing, singing, recording and teaching music. He has been featured on keyboard and guitar on two albums recorded with fellow musicians in San Diego, where he also taught guitar to adults rediscovering their rock n' roll dreams.
